Leslie Shaw is Chief Legal Counsel for StrategicHealthSolutions, LLC (Strategic) and a member of the Corporate Advisory Team, Strategic’s senior management team.
Shaw started her law career in 1984 as an attorney for the Bureau of Consumer Protection with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), which allowed her to work in consumer advocacy. Shaw joined Strategic in February 2006. She not only provides legal guidance to Strategic but also works on several contracts where Strategic serves as the Independent Monitor for the OIG’s Corporate Integrity Agreements. In addition, Shaw provides subject matter expertise about the Medicare and Medicaid programs and issues related to compliance, quality of care, and fraud, waste, and abuse.
Shaw earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona; and a Juris Doctorate from the University of California, Davis. She is an active member of California Bar and District of Columbia Bar.
