The Challenge:

Strategic’s staff collaborated with the customer to create a highly important educational toolkit for Medicaid providers. The toolkit included an hour-long webinar for continuing education (CE) credit and a corresponding booklet, fact sheet, and resource guide. After the customer’s approval, Strategic published the toolkit to Medicaid’s sole online distribution resource. The resource helps states reach provider groups and organizations with applicable Medicaid training, but does not allow providers or physicians to readily access the information directly.

Even with no other Medicaid distribution resource, the customer desired broader distribution for the toolkit based on its educational significance to providers.

The Solution:

To expand the toolkit’s dissemination, Strategic collaborated with the customer to expand the toolkit into Medicare to use its educational website, which is directly accessible to providers and physicians nationally.

Once the customer decided upon a dual Medicaid and Medicare publication, Strategic’s staff rebranded the toolkit booklet, fact sheet, and resource guide according to Medicare guidelines within 10 working days.

The Result:

The collaborative effort between Strategic and its customer fostered the creation of an educationally significant toolkit, which is readily accessible in both Medicare and Medicaid sectors. Expanding into Medicare helped the “Safeguarding Your Medical Identity” toolkit reach more than 2,142 users within the first four months of publication. Of the users, approximately 80 percent completed the training and received their CE credit.
