Dr. Adrelle Evans, Sr. has been selected as the new Vice President (VP) of Human Resources (HR) for StrategicHealthSolutions, LLC (Strategic). In this role, Dr. Evans will assume leadership of the company’s HR team and all aspects of its operation. As a member of the executive team, Dr. Evans will report to CEO Peg Stessman.
Ms. Stessman said, “Adrelle is bringing twenty years of executive-level HR, operations, and logistics experience in complex environments. He specializes in helping companies efficiently scale to meet growing service demands. He will be a tremendous asset to Strategic.”
Dr. Evans most recently served as the Director of Human Resource Operations at Albemarle Corporation, after leaving the U.S. Department of the Army in 2015. In this role, he delivered enterprise-wide HR services and business processes for a global specialty chemical company with a market cap of $9 billion.
In 2014, Dr. Evans was appointed to the Executive Vice President of Programs position for the U.S. Government – Headquarters, U.S. Department of the Army, after holding various other successful senior leadership positions including Corporate Inspector General and Executive Vice President of Operations and Training.
Dr. Evans received his Doctorate of Education (Ed.D.) and Master of Arts (M.A.) in Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix and his Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Science from Prairie View A&M University.

August 11, 2016 – StrategicHealthSolutions, LLC, (Strategic), recently won the Unified Program Integrity Contractor (UPIC) multiple-award, Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ), a major government contract seeking reduce fraud, waste, and abuse in Medicare and Medicaid.
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) awarded the IDIQ through a competitive procurement process and Strategic was among six other program integrity companies to be selected. The UPIC IDIQ is a 10 year contract that has the potential to release work up to $2.5 billion. All work under this contract will be released as separate Task Orders, which only winners of the IDIQ will be permitted to bid on.
“Winning this IDIQ is the culmination of 10 years of hard work by our superior staff,” said Peg Stessman, founder and CEO of Strategic. “In 2005, I established Strategic with the desire to make a significant impact in the sustainability of government funded health care programs like Medicare and Medicaid. We have made intentional shifts toward Program Integrity work, and it’s an honor to be recognized for our leadership in that area.”
The UPIC contract is a new, integrated approach to carrying out program integrity responsibilities in Medicare and Medicaid throughout the nation. Diverging from the multi-contractor approach, the new UPIC contract is expected to improve efficiency and coordination of federal data analysis and audit/investigation work. The UPICs will operate in geographic areas or “jurisdictions” defined by individual Task Orders.

In his new role, Mundt will provide direction to ensure employees are being utilized efficiently according to work flow and order of tasks within various government contracts.
Prior to joining Strategic, Mundt served in senior management and operations as manager of claims for Repwest Insurance Company. Mundt has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln and a Master of Arts from Bellevue University.

February 1, 2016 – StrategicHealthSolutions, LLC (Strategic) is pleased to announce that Duke Vair has been selected as the new Vice President (VP) of Human Resources (HR). Duke brings over 20 years of HR experience and leadership.
Vair will work out of Strategic’s corporate office in Omaha, NE. He will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating all HR management activities and leading Strategic’s HR team.
Strategic’s senior leadership team is excited to fill the VP of HR position and welcome Vair to the team. “We feel confident that Duke is the right fit for the team and will help Strategic achieve its growth and development goals,” said Peg Stessman, CEO of Strategic.
Vair most recently served as the Senior VP of HR at Ag Processing, Inc., in Omaha, where he was able to reduce the company’s health care program costs by 22 percent over four years through a variety of educational awareness programs.
Prior to Ag Processing, Vair effectively held a variety of other HR leadership positions. He was the VP of HR for Leo A Daly Company where he reduced turnover by 37 percent in one year, amounting to a savings of $800,000 that year. Vair was also the VP of HR and Chief Information Officer (CIO) for Adesta Communications where he had oversight for the planning and implementation of all business information systems for customer operations and internal communications.
Vair obtained his Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration/Finance from the University of Nebraska.
