Strategic’s services are available through the award of the General Services Administrative (GSA) Mission Oriented Business Integrated Services (MOBIS) contract (GS-10F-0231T). Services offered by Strategic pursuant to this contract include consulting services, as well as program integration and project management services.

Strategic is also contracted with the Chief Information Officer — Solutions & Partners 3 (CIO-SP3).

As Strategic continues to grow, we recognize that there are drastic changes that need to be made in the health care industry. If our nation continues at its current rate of spending, future generations will be unable to rely on government-funded health care programs. We understand the importance of treating health care like any other resource, finite. Putting proper controls in place to prevent fraud, waste, and abuse is the key to sustaining these programs. This understanding inspired us to take a stand in the effort to protect our health care programs.

As of 2015, Strategic has made it our Big Hairy Audacious Goal (BHAG) to redefine health care as a sustainable resource and to protect the future of health care for generations to come.

The foundation of Strategic’s business practices is the Quality Management System (QMS). Strategic is committed to meeting and frequently exceeding our customers’ expectations. This mandates that we get it right the first time, every time. Our systems and procedures assure that quality outcomes are well-defined, repeatable, measurable, and modifiable for continuous quality improvement.

ISO 9001:2008

The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) is a global federation of organizations that develop, promote, and maintain standards for their respective products and services. Strategic is certified to ISO 9001:2008, a standard that can be broadly applied to service and manufacturing organizations alike.  To maintain this certification, Strategic’s QMS is annually audited and reviewed by ISO.

CMMI Level 3

CMMI is a process improvement approach that provides organizations with the essential elements of effective processes that ultimately improve their performance. Strategic is rated at Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) for Services, Maturity Level 3 (ML3). An appraisal at ML3 indicates the organization is performing at a “defined” level. At this level, processes are well characterized and understood, and are described in standards, procedures, tools, and methods.

Community Involvement

Strategic believes in giving back to the community through volunteerism and donations. Our History

Chief Executive Officer Margaret “Peg” Stessman established Strategic in 2005 as a government contractor focused on program integrity. Continuing Education

Strategic believes that continuing education (CE) for our nation’s health care providers plays a vital role in reducing fraud, waste, and abuse in health care. After establishing its CE program in 2010, Strategic began offering free CE courses to health care professionals through its online learning management system,  The Strategic Institute. Our free courses enable health care professionals nationwide to stay current on industry information while earning CE credits in the most efficient and convenient way possible.
