Our team of medical and technical experts works closely with government entities to recoup misspent dollars and prevent future misuse through education, analytics, and investigation. We are a recognized and trusted government contractor in the health care services industry, a CMMI level 3 company and an ISO 9001 2008 certified provider of solutions for government health care programs.

Strategic’s services are available through the award of the General Services Administrative (GSA) Mission Oriented Business Integrated Services (MOBIS) contract (GS-10F-0231T). Services offered by Strategic pursuant to this contract include consulting services, as well as program integration and project management services.

Strategic is also contracted with the Chief Information Officer — Solutions & Partners 3 (CIO-SP3).

As Strategic continues to grow, we recognize that there are drastic changes that need to be made in the health care industry. If our nation continues at its current rate of spending, future generations will be unable to rely on government-funded health care programs. We understand the importance of treating health care like any other resource, finite. Putting proper controls in place to prevent fraud, waste, and abuse is the key to sustaining these programs. This understanding inspired us to take a stand in the effort to protect our health care programs.

As of 2015, Strategic has made it our Big Hairy Audacious Goal (BHAG) to redefine health care as a sustainable resource and to protect the future of health care for generations to come.

10 Year Anniversary

October, 2015 marks the 10 year anniversary for Strategic. Since its establishment in 2005, Strategic has experienced considerable growth and milestones. We started with three people in a home office, and now employ nearly three hundred people in multiple locations across the country.

To look back on the last ten years and recognize how Strategic has impacted our industry, employees, and community, we created a three-part video.

Community Involvement

Strategic believes in giving back to the community through volunteerism and donations. By orchestrating charitable activities throughout the year, Strategic offers employees the opportunity to give back to those who need it most. Over the years, Strategic has supported a number of charitable organizations through drives, fundraisers, sponsorships, and volunteer work.

Providing goods and resources for those in need is one part of how we give back to our community. At Strategic, we believe that it is also critical to ensure national health insurance programs remain available for those who need them.  The current trajectory of health care spending is putting our nation’s veterans, elderly, disabled, and financially disadvantaged at risk of being unable to afford the care they need.

Every day, we work to make health care more sustainable by reducing fraud, waste, and abuse. While these efforts are making a substantial impact, we need the help of our community. Strategic is launching a campaign to raise awareness and drive community action to ensure a sustainable future for our national health insurance programs including Medicare and Medicaid.

Our History

Chief Executive Officer Margaret “Peg” Stessman established Strategic in 2005 as a government contractor focused on program integrity. Strategic has achieved several accreditations to provide ongoing educational opportunities for medical professionals who are required to achieve Continuing Education credits to maintain their professional licensing. Strategic is also certified by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).
